Chilly days and cool evenings have finally arrived. Fall is in the air and as much as this can be the most beautiful time of year, it can also become a very stressful time of year for someone who doesn't have the ability to drive home to a warm house, cuddle up on the couch with a cozy blanket, or have the proper clothes to stay warm throughout the night. Unfortunately, this is the season where the concrete that would normally be their place of rest becomes colder, more extreme, and harder and harder to stay warm. The dirty blankets, the soiled clothes.. all indication that winter is around the corner.
November 13th we will be reopening The Mercy House. The Mercy House is our emergency shelter which will be providing a warm bed, a delicious hot meal, warm showers, volunteers who will wash, dry, and fold the worn daily clothes of our guests, and an environment that almost immediately starts to feel like home. If you would like to partner with us, please let us know. Your love and support means the world to us, but even more importantly, it's life changing for someone on the other side.
